Established in 2005, DT Craft & Design is a small family business run by Debbie and Pete Tomkies.
We sell a range of high quality products for hand-dyers and textile artists, all carefully selected and extensively tested before we bring them to you.
Product support and helpful advice
We pride ourselves in providing excellent technical backup, drawing on Debbie’s 30 years of experience as a textile artist.
We are also delighted to offer a comprehensive range of workshops, tutorials and product guides to help you develop your textiles skills.
Workshops, writing & teaching
Debbie has been a textiles tutor for over 15 years, is the author of five books, has had over 50 published designs and over 150 articles and tutorials in major craft magazines.
Pete is our photographer, videographer, graphic designer and looks after the website as well as assisting Debbie at workshops and shows!
Our ethos
Our strength is in our understanding of our products – what they can (and can’t!) do, helping you choose the best product for your project and how to use our products.
We work with trusted partners and suppliers and aim to source goods sustainably. We are constantly reviewing our packaging, processing and transportation to reduce our carbon footprint as far as possible.
We use recycled materials where available and recycle packaging to reduce waste.
