Hand dyed yarn - 100% Bluefaced Leicester Aran

Our 100% Bluefaced Leicester Aran is a lovely yarn, spun to give a supersoft feel with plenty of bounce. It gives good stitch definition and great effects with cable patterns.

Suggested needle sizes: 4.5mm – 6.5mm

Uses: Pullovers and warm winter woollies. This yarn is popular for nappy covers, yet, when worked on smaller needles is also great for throws and light furnishings. A very versatile yarn.

Our hand dyed yarns are individually hand dyed by Debbie and supplied as skeins. Variation between skeins is part of the charm of these unique yarns as no two are alike. We recommend that you knit hand dyed yarns in imaginary stripes, switching between skeins approximately every three to four rows for the best effect.

As well as rainbow dyed hand dyed yarns Debbie has also designed some semi-solid shades. Semi-solid shades are single colour yarns, but, because they are individually hand-dyed, they still have subtle variations in shade within the skein, making them just that bit more special.
