This 100% pure Wensleydale wool Aran weight yarn is a mid-weight yarn with a fabulous lustre and lovely handle. A pleasure to knit. Suggested needle sizes: 4mm-7.0mm Uses: Heavier sweaters, scarves and jackets. Afghans and other homewares (but not for heavy duty use). This smooth yarn lends itself well to a wide range of stitch patterns giving good stitch definition. Fairisle/intarsia and other colour techniques also work well with this yarn. Our hand dyed yarns are individually hand dyed by Debbie and supplied as skeins. Variation between skeins is part of the charm of these unique yarns as no two are alike. We recommend that you knit hand dyed yarns in imaginary stripes, switching between skeins approximately every three to four rows for the best effect.
