Silk hankies are a delight to dye! Hankies are a "flat" version of silk caps/silk bells made by stretching out individual, soaked cocoons over a frame and leaving to dry. The resulting hankie is a many-layered, floaty-light treasure which can be used in so many ways - spin and ply with another fibre or card with a fibre such as camel or wool and then spin for a subtle blend.
